Welcome to CHARKARANJI SECONDARY SCHOOL -2Km. Towards East from the University of Barishal. During the war of Independence-1971 most of the towns and villages were destroyed and burnt into ashes by the atrocities and genocide of the occupation army. Thousands and thousands of people were either dead or missing. Victory was owned and the survivals were exhausted but still courageous .Then once in a fine morning in January 1972 all the juveniles ,freedom fighters of liberation war and the elites of the village were assembled in a meeting under the dynamic leadership of Abdur Razzaq khan and Engineer and an enthusiastic person interested in education of the locality. With their full hopes. Co-operations and donations an unanimous resolutions were taken with joy and inspirations established Shahid Mubarok Junior High School. Babu Anil Kumar Mandol was the founder Head Master. In due course, Junior High School was up graded and the Charkaranji Secondary School was affiliated by Jessore Board in 1992 under a regular approved committee headed by Abdur Razzaq khan is the founder of the School. Charkaranji Secondary School is full Pledged high school. Consisting a squad of graduate trained teachers, a good number of students and better S.S.C results make the school is an epoch of civilization. In 2000, vocational training programme is attached to the high school also. The name and fame of Charkaranji Secondary School is known to all in Barishal Division. It is only due to sincere and active creativity and vast dedications of the founder of the school Abdur Razzaq khan will be remembered forever by the future generation.
